Star Chaser is Sailing Across the Atlantic!

Star Chaser has left the dock today with a very happy crew: they are going to sail from the cold and wet UK to the great and warm islands of the Canaries!

Who wouldn’t be happy to do so? Especially if you get the chance to do so on a comfortable and fast Swan 51 like Star Chaser.

After a couple of weeks in the yard and a shiny new coat of paint, Star Chaser is ready for her new Atlantic circuit.

On the cruise down south, their first stop will be Bayona in Spain, a terrific coastal town with flavourful food, wicked wines and plenty of friendly people. After a bit of sight seeing and stocking up on the good stuff, they will head into the Atlantic Ocean, heading for Madeira.

Madeira is a wonderful place with a vibrant capital, amazing nature and helpful open people. Have a look on our gallery for some great Madeira photos.

After sampling the local flavours, including sleighing down the road!, it is then a short hop south to Las Palmas in Gran Canaria, where the boat will get ready for the ARC 2008.
