We're going south...finally again after a summer of cold and unforgettable adventures.
We couldn't leave of course without a last visit to our favourite swimming pool complex, letting our backs get massaged by 'The Pummmeling stream': a water stream powerful enough that you can leave back into it and stay sitting upright! Finished off with a dip in the 43 degrees Celsius tub (quite the opposite to my last dip next to the ice cubes!), we were all set to go.
Both on our way to the pool and back to the boat, it became clear we are not the only ones heading south...we say numerous groups of geese flying overhead, in classic V-formation, heading to warmer climes...and to be honest, no matter how incredible this summer's adventures have been, I am very glad we are heading the same way; I can do with a bit of warmth and can't wait to wear a skirt and flipflops again without freezing.
